Shipping Information

Because of the weight of coated paper, most Akran Printing customers choose to ship their order via ground. Air shipping is available at an up charge as listed below. Please be sure to specify your shipping method at order entry. Changes in shipping destination or method at completion of your order may result in additional fees. Akran strives to ensure that estimates prior to production match the invoices we provide upon delivery of your finished product. To make this possible we work extra hard to ensure your job description includes everything you expected so that adjustments do not occur later resulting in price changes. We stand by our merits and compete fairly for your business.

Ground Shipping

Akran ships via UPS ground and Canada Post Expedited Parcel depending on rate. Prices for normal ground shipping are derived from published UPS standard rates.

Express Shipping

For fast delivery you may choose to ship your order via UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air or 3 Day Select. Coated paper is very heavy with a typical box weighing approximately 50 pounds. We recommend that you only ship the quantity you need by air and ship the balance via normal ground service for maximum savings. Check with your Akran Printing sales consultant for express shipping prices.

Full Service
A full-service firm with both conventional offset and large-format printing devices, Akran Printing, which installed its iGen3 in July 2003, specializes in in-store marketing work, applying the principles of supply chain management to its point-of-sale and other sales communication projects.

"Among our customers," Eric Edmonds says, "there is a high expectation of consistency among all pieces in a promotion, whether they're printed conventionally or digitally on vinyl, other plastics, or paper. Being able to use color management tools across all of these production methods, including the iGen3, has been very important."
